You and members of your group are expected to create a poster (pictures, graphic images, maps, etc.) which will explain the characteristics of your school or sect of Buddhism, and how it is different from, and similar to other sects. Both classes will be working on this project to produce instructional material which will replace the Hungry Planet display at the back of the class.
Poster dimensions: 50 cm W x 100-110 cm L
The poster material is the complete responsibility of the group. Search for images and information on the internet. Should you require a color print out, let me know.
Your grade will be determined by:
Accuracy of information and identification of sources for it. As well, citations must be made for images as well as the sources used.
Photographs and other images which help convey the differences of your sect with the other sects.
Clear and concise written work describing your sect and how it differs from, and is similar to the others. Note: it's a poster and thus your points should be succinct.
Cooperation of group members.
